I am providing all of you husbands and wives out there an easy and quick way to let your spouse know you care and are thinking about them (guys, listen up as the wives especially like this!)
Last spring in our Life Group at church we did a study on marriage and one guy mentioned that every time he brushes his teeth he puts toothpaste on his wife's toothbrush for when she comes to brush her teeth. It tells her that you thought about her and love her. Courtney and I have been doing this for each other for the last six months and it is great! I must confess that I still forget sometimes, but Courtney always forgives me and watching her appreciation when I remember to do it is wonderful!
Putting some toothpaste on your partner's toothbrush is a sweet thing to do. Even if it's just a simple act, it's a very valuable and romantic act for your partner. You'd feel the same way if he/she does it to you. When it comes to love, even the smallest things matter. =)
